WE ARE HERE TO SAFELY TAKE CARE OF YOU! Edgewood Center Pediatrics is open and dedicated to keeping our patients and staff safe and healthy. Your child’s health remains most important to us. We are aware many parents are concerned with bringing their children to a medical office. We understand! In addition to following best practices for patient safety, we are doing additional cleaning of each room between patients and throughout the office. The staff is all wearing masks and other protective equipment when necessary. In addition to in-office appointments, we have been successfully utilizing virtual visits for certain types of non-well visit exams. Should you have any concerns, call us.

Our providers, along with the American Academy of Pediatrics are strongly encouraging keeping up-to-date with well exams and vaccines. We continue to have a provider on-call for urgent matters any time the office is closed.

The office is currently open from 9am until 7pm Monday through Thursday, 9am – 5pm on Friday and 9am – 12pm on Saturday. The office may occasionally close early depending on patient volume.

We want to thank our patients and staff for your continued dedication and understanding as we make adjustments to care for our patients. We are here for you when you need us and appreciate you for being the best part of the Edgewood family!

Temporary Office Safety Procedures:

We are currently scheduling well visit in the following manner: We are scheduling well exams at dedicated times based on age. All babies under 2 year of age enter and exit through a separate door. Please call when you arrive at the office and we can direct you to the appropriate room and entrance. All well visits over 1 year of age will be directed to a room as soon as you enter or call without waiting in the waiting room.

  • We continue to see patients for “non-well” reasons. These appointments are also scheduled according to illness and age and some may be virtual visits over secure video conference technology.

If you would like your child to be seen who has recently traveled to a known COVID-19 region or have had direct contact with a known COVID-19 person please give us a call prior to your appointment.

Edgewood Center Pediatrics offers sports physicals to existing patients that have had a well visit in our office within the last year and require an exam for sports on or after April 15th of the previous school year.

If your child’s well visit was before April 15th, 2019 and the form(s) require exam to be on or after April 15th of the previous school year you may require a sports physical appointment.

Sports physicals are NOT a complete well exam and do not replace a yearly well visit!
