We will be updating ALL patient information beginning 1/2/2023. Please come prepared to show current insurance card and fill out updated paperwork – yes, even if there are not any changes! It is vital to have the most up-to-date information to properly bill insurance. We appreciate your patience and understanding during this process!

You are welcome to fill the paperwork out prior to your appointment and save some time or arrive early to your appointment to fill out while your in the office.

We are excited to announce we are now offering Pfizer COVID-19 vaccines to anyone 6 months of age and older.
Please call the office to schedule an appointment.

2022 – 2023 Influenza Vaccines – We will be stocking both injectable influenza and intranasal (Flumist) this season.
We are currently booking appointments for Flu Vaccines – Please call our office at 248-360-9241 to schedule an appointment.

If you have any insurance changes or updates please provide us with the new card or a copy of the new card. You may email a copy to edgewoodpediatricsfrontdesk@gmail.com or text a picture of the card to 248-360-9241. Please include the patients name and DOB with the email/text.
WE ARE HERE TO SAFELY TAKE CARE OF YOU! Edgewood Center Pediatrics is open and dedicated to keeping our patients and staff safe and healthy. Your child’s health remains most important to us. We are aware many parents are concerned with bringing their children to a medical office. We understand! In addition to following best practices for patient safety, we are doing additional cleaning of each room between patients and throughout the office.
Our providers, along with the American Academy of Pediatrics are strongly encouraging keeping up-to-date with well exams and vaccines. We continue to have a provider on-call for urgent matters any time the office is closed.
Edgewood Center Pediatrics has been providing pediatric and adolescent care to the community since 1990. We currently have 5 board certified pediatricians and a board certified physician assistant from various backgrounds. We also offer lactation support through our certified lactation consultant. Working along with the physicians, our staff strives to provide the best possible care for your child’s developmental and health care needs.

Edgewood Center Pediatrics is now a Patient Centered Medical Home. Please familiarize yourself with our brochure, as we will be asking you to sign a registration sheet indicating you have done so.

Meet Our Providers
2022 Updates
Effective January 1st, 2019 Edgewood Center Pediatrics will begin charging a $35.00 fee for all well visit and consult appointments that are not canceled or rescheduled 24 hours prior to the appointment time.
Edgewood Center Pediatrics offers sports physicals to existing patients that have had a well visit in our office within the last year and require an exam for sports on or after April 15th of the previous school year.
If your child’s well visit was on or after April 15th, 2020 a form can be filled out without an appointment.
If your child’s well visit was before April 15th, 2020 and the form(s) require exam to be on or after April 15th of the previous school year you may require a sports physical appointment.
Sports physicals are NOT a complete well exam and do not replace a yearly well visit!
Sport physical appointments are only for filling out required forms. The exam will include height, weight, blood pressure, heart check, hernia exam (males) and vision exam. Growth and development/disease management will not be discussed nor will medications be refilled.
If additional testing/procedures are required, an office visit may be billed to your insurance and all co-pays will be due at time of service. This will be in addition to the cost of the sports physical!
Sports physicals will be $45 due at the time of service and insurance cannot be billed!

ADD/ADHD Patients
Due to recent changes in guidelines patients that are prescribed controlled substances by our office are now required to have a medication re-check appointment at least every 3 months and an annual physical examination. In addition, all requests for controlled substance refills will now require a strictly enforced 48 hour notice.
